πΆ RYO Inc. presents β The Classics Return Concert πΆ
Join us as we celebrate the culmination of another incredible year of music-making with the Rockhampton Youth Orchestra (RYO Inc.)!
This much-loved annual event brings together our talented ensembles β the Rockhampton Youth Orchestra, RYO Jazz Ensemble, CQ Strings, RCMS Chamber Music Ensemble, Unisong Choir, and Rockhampton Big Band β for an afternoon of wonderful live music.
β¨ The Classics Return Concert is also a very special occasion where RYO Inc. proudly awards our Youth Music Scholarships and Bursaries, recognising the dedication, progress, and passion of our young musicians.

Are you a young musician looking for an exciting opportunity to grow and perform? The Rockhampton Youth Orchestra (RYO) is always on the lookout for talented new members!
Auditions for new members are held tri-yearly, and applications can be submitted at any time. Future audition dates will be announced here, so keep an eye on this page for updates!
Rehearsal Details:
π Location: RYO Room, Level 1, Walter Reid Cultural Centre, Rockhampton
π Rehearsals: Saturdays from 11:00 AM β 12:30 PM during school terms
π» Conductor: Anne Svendsen & Shaun Fogarty
Throughout the year, we also host special music education events, activities, and concerts to further enhance the experience.
If you or someone you know is passionate about music, we encourage you to apply! Help us spread the word and give young musicians the chance to develop their skills and experience the joy of playing in an orchestra.
